Bougainvillea spectabilis ‘Rijnstar Lilac’ purple including rack

An exotic waterfall of flowers The Bougainvillea ‘Rijnstar Lilac’ dresses up any balcony or patio. The ‘Rijnstar Lilac’ has a soft, purple colour and has extraordinarily large, tulip-shaped flowers. The Bougainvillea blooms all summer. It is a strong plant that also maintains its flowers in difficult conditions.
The plant is not winter hardy. Bring the plant indoors in autumn. The plant can overwinter in a light, frost-free place (5-15 degrees). Put the plant in a place that is a bit warmer (16-20 degrees) in the early spring. The plant loves to be positioned in a sheltered spot, in full sun. We don’t water it much in the winter, but take care not to let the root ball dry out. Water it a bit more in the early spring. The plant comes with a rack.
