Corsican Hellebore Helleborus argutifolius Green – Hardy plant

This impressive hellebore is drought and heat tolerant. Corsican hellebore originates from the island of Corsica. An evergreen perennial plant, that provides clusters of large, pale-green, cup-shaped flowers with yellow stamens. The leathery leaves have a spiny-edge. A strong plant that grows fairly large. Ideal for a semi-shaded border, the highly decorative Corsican hellebore flowers from winter into spring. Helleborus argutifolius. has recently been renamed and is now officially called Helleborus lividus subsp. corsicus.
