Feather grass Stipa ‘Ponytails’ brown – Hardy plant

It looks just like a horse’s tail! Feather grass ‘Ponytails’ (Stipa tenufolia) has a very fine, almost hair-like structure. The blades hang down at two sides. This makes it look just like a ponytail. We put this charming plant in the garden or in a flowerpot on the balcony. We can plant this plant all year round. Provided temperatures don’t go below freezing. The plant blooms with brown plumes in the summer months.
The plant does not require pruning. Put the plant somewhere in the sun. The ornamental grass prefers well-drained soil. Give it extra water during dry periods.
