Pampas grass Cortaderia ‘Evita’ white

The pampas grass ‘Evita’ is a true stunner and is one of the most attractive ornamental grasses. Its white plumes create a playful effect in the garden and the plant will produce plumes as early as its first year. The plant is evergreen, but not hardy. This means that it’s important to protect it against low temperatures in winter.

The flower plumes bloom in autumn, you can then prune them down to around 30cm above the ground at the end of winter. Pampas grass loves a sunny location and handles dry weather well. It’s important to give it extra water during dry periods.
