Parthenocissus ‘Henryana’ green-red – Hardy plant

A self-supporting climber? That’s the parthenocissus ‘Henryana’ (Parthenocissus). A favourite of butterflies and insects. The fast-growing plant attaches itself to walls and fences with its roots. The leaves change colour in the autumn so we can enjoy beautiful red, brown and green autumn colours. The plant blooms with little, inconspicuous, green flowers in the summer months.
Pruning is not necessary, unless the plant becomes too large. Put the perennial plant somewhere with partial shade. The chocolate vine grows well in any type of soil. Give the plant extra water in dry periods.
