Passion flower Passiflora ‘Purple Haze’ purple – Hardy plant

We’re passionate about the passionflower. The unique, purple flowers brighten up any wall! We plant the perennial passionflower (Passiflora caerulea) in our garden for a colourful twist. Or in a lovely pot on a (rooftop) patio or balcony. The passion flower attracts bees and butterflies! The flowers bloom all summer. The plant produces edible fruit in the second year after planting.
The plant needs the support of a climbing rack or fence to grow. Pruning is not necessary, unless the plant becomes too large. Sufficient light is needed to ensure good growth. Passionflowers grow best in the sun. The soil should be kept slightly damp. Water it more during dry periods.
