Peonies Paeonia ‘Armani’ red – Bare rooted – Hardy plant

Bring that beauty indoors. Simply cut a few stems and put them in a vase. You will receive the peonies as bare-root stock in sugar cane sacking. This is more environmentally friendly than plastic nursery pots. The root is freshly removed from the soil. It is already one year old. This gives it additional strength, enabling it to branch out faster than a plant in a nursery pot. Plants grown from bare-root stock also adapt to their new environment more easily. They flower better and they are more economical. Bare-root stock plants grow when it becomes warmer. They are winter-hardy perennials. They can be planted at any time, provided that the ground is not frozen. The plant begins blooming in May/June. This lasts for about two months. Keep the soil around the roots moist. But it should never be soaking wet. The peony blooms its best in full or half sun. Five or more hours of sunlight is perfect. The “Armani” can be planted in a flower pot on the patio, roof terrace or balcony. Or just plant them separately around the garden.
