Silvergrass Miscanthus ‘Strictus’ – Hardy plant

Elegant and perennial. That’s the maiden grass ‘Strictus Dwarf’ (Miscanthus sinensis). ‘Strictus Dwarf’ is an ornamental dwarf grass. The plant stays small and compact thanks to its non-invasive growth habit. The colourful leaves are also very attractive in our garden. We can plant this plant all year round, provided temperatures don’t go below freezing. The plant blooms with lovely plumes in the summer months.
The plant does not require pruning. Just cut away the dead leaves. Put the plant somewhere in the sun. Silver grass thrives in moist soil. Give it extra water during dry periods.
