Wax Plant Hoya macrophylla – Hanging plant

A popular plant thanks to its beautiful leaves. That’s the Hoya (macrophylla). With its white-and-green leaves, the hoya is a jewel in any plant collection. Give the Hoya some love by keeping the soil damp. But make sure that there’s never standing water in the pot. Place it in a bright spot but away from direct sunlight. The Hoya is supplied in a practical plastic hanging pot. You can simply detach the handles if you want to set the plant down on a cupboard or shelf.
Did you know…? Umbels of small, white nocturnal flowers may appear on your Hoya overnight in spring. As night these flowers exude a strong fragrance that is reminiscent of clean laundry.
